Today is going to be a day of rest. We have been cruising around Texel for three days now and our legs need some time off. We stroll around De Koog a bit, have a coffee here and a snack there.

We take a walk along the beach and get our feet wet and have lunch at one of the beach restaurants. The fish dishes are delicious.

We sit down and watch for seals. On this side of Texel you do not spot them very often, but sometimes in the far distance you can see a black dot pop out above the water and disappear again.

The wind can do mysterious things with sand, creating all sorts of structures. On the beach you are never alone! There is lots of company flying around and screaming, or taking a rest.
