Day 1
Thursday, April 11th
Today is the start of our city trip to Warsaw, Poland. We are visiting our son, who works and lives in Warsaw. Following his girlfriend to Warsaw, he applied for a job here and got hired. We haven't seen him for months now and are curious as how he is doing......
Day 2
Friday, April 12th
Having slept well on a good bed (I have experienced different beds) we get dressed, freshen up and head for the dining hall on the ground floor for breakfast. The place is crowded with what looks like fifteen too sixteen year old school kids......
Day 3
Saturday April 13th
After a hardy breakfast we meet up with the family for a day of site seeing. Warsaw is a city full of memorials and monuments. This is due to the fact that Poland has a long and rich history, and partially due to the fact it got caught in between the two......
Day 4
Sunday, April 14th
We get up and head for the dining area for breakfast. It is far less busy then last time with all these kids running around and bumping into you. It is actually quiet, and virtually all the tables are available. Today we will meet the parents of my son′s Polish girlfriend......
Day 5
Monday, April 15th
Our last day in Warsaw! This evening we fly back to Amsterdam. But we still have one (almost) full day to spend in Warsaw. So we have breakfast, make a plan of attack for today, pack our bags and give these in care of the hotel staff and we are off into town......
